Digital Authority Partners Wins the 2021 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement
CHICAGO, Nov. 9, 2021 /-- The Kyro CBD Website Brings Digital Authority Partners Their First Outstanding Website Honor.
The Web Marketing Association just announced the winners of the 2021 WebAwards. The 2021 Outstanding Website WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development went to Digital Authority Partners (DAP). The website created by the Chicago-based digital marketing agency was for Kyro CBD, a website created to promote a CBD product and provide education on the topic. This marks the second WebAward won by DAP and the first in this category.
How The Sites Are Judged
Several industry leaders act as volunteer judges who dedicate significant time to this process. The judging runs between June 14 and the end of August with winners typically announced in mid-September.
The following criteria are used for the judging of all entries:
- Content
- Copywriting
- Design
- Ease of use
- Innovation
- Interactivity
- Use of technology
All entries are judged for one of three different WebAwards. The websites are judged head-to-head against all other entries within the same industry category. The site that collects the most of a possible score of 70 points is named the “Best In Industry” award winner. The remaining sites that scored higher than 60 points are then judged once more against a standard of overall excellence and quality. This judging process produces the final two award winners which include the “Outstanding Website Award” and the “Standard of Excellence Award.”
About the Winning Entry
The design of the Kyro CBD website came under the guidance of Marketing Manager Peter Devereaux and Product Manager Pranjal Bora. The site is full of white space which makes the images of CBD products jump off of the page. The menu features just four buttons, plus a shopping cart. One of the buttons leads to an extensive section labeled “Education” and it features a vast collection of interesting articles focused on the benefits of CBD in general. The majority of the Home Page is also dedicated to promoting the Kyro CBD Blog with interesting images that are relevant to the topics in each of the highlighted blog articles. The site has a very professional look and feel and is extremely easy to navigate. The font choices are simple with bold headlines and regular san serif text which is comfortable to read on any size screen.
